The President Elections Committee group of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has dropped the planned pursued off the withdrawal of Boakye Kyeremateng Agyarko.
The previous Energy minister had raised worries about the choice to permit just Public Board individuals from the party to cast a ballot in the run-off among him and Francis Addai-Nimoh.
The two of them had nine votes from Saturday's races, tied on fifth spot.
He said it was unlawful to permit simply a limited handful to cast a ballot in the run-off, drawing the consideration of the Seat of the Board that he won't partake in such illegality.

After a crisis meeting on Thursday, the Advisory group chose to cancel the races, giving Mr Addai-Nimoh the greenlight to join the generally chosen four for the November 4 essential.
"He having removed from the race," Representative to the Advisory group Alexander Afenyo-Markin told writers, "I feel that Saturday's decisions presently is put on ice.
"There is no requirement for any decisions since now we have five [aspirants]."
The five presently set for the November 4 standoff are VP Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, Assin Focal Individual from Parliament Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, previous Exchange and Industry Priest Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, previous Food and Horticulture Clergyman Dr Owusu Afriyie Akoto and presently Mr Addai-Nimoh.
