Dancehall artiste, Barbara Naa Okailey Nyarko famously known as OV has said that Black Sherif is an inspiration to her.
In a meeting with Giovanni Caleb on Showbiz 360, the season 7 MTN hit creator victor communicated her advantage in needing to highlight Black Sherif, VGMA 2023 Artiste of the Year and recognized him for how far he had gotten in his music profession.
" I'm glad for him. I'm glad for him. He has spurred me. He is one individuals that caused me to feel like log jam, simply continue onward" she uncovered.
Before this, she had a meeting with Giovanni Caleb on 3FM drive saying that her sudden exit from Stonebwoy's record mark made her discouraged and insane and that represented the extended break she took.
"It was after the exit. It was something that hit me extremely hard. It made me think, 'Am I adequately not? It began giving me questions about meriting to be on a mark. It put me through some express that I won't want for my adversary. It put me through a ton. I was discouraged. It arrived at a point I avoided everyone", OV made sense of.

"I've been near. I have been doing music simply that, I was somewhat away from standard. I've experienced so a lot… I need to break a piece to mend and recuperate from and I was discouraged too so," she shared
